Drug Trafficking - Giovanni Beltran

My name is Lorena Ruano Zaira Contreras and this interview is connected with drug trafficking in our country. Colombia suffers from the seventies the situation of being the leading producer and exporter of cocaine in the world. Beyond the multitude of ideas on this, however, the economic, political and social aspects of drug trafficking in the country's march have been so huge and difficult to assess drug trafficking is not an unknown in our country since I have reason this situation has many sides to the coin as it is the use of which any person involved in this issue, from a person of ordinary life to those recognized in the media, I think drug trafficking that took hold in the time Pablo Escobar, one might take the country in their hands with all its purposes to become a powerful person in the world, dominated the whole drug issue was a very ruthless had played with many people in the political domain and many government agencies but this is not over, drug trafficking is an issue that unfortunately will never come to an end We know that this phenomenon is complex and quite difficult to understand. The drug exerts its power to penetrate the structures of civil society to participate in decision making and control of the national territories. And use of force by paramilitary groups to destabilize states and impose its own laws and values, violate human rights and endangering the continuity of the democratic system. Drugs affecting the health of those who consume them, particularly the youth and children. The various options to combat the drug is discussed both of the countries involved, as well as internationally.Under the leadership of the United Nations, is to setup a policy based on the principle of shared responsibility, respect for the sovereignty of States in eliminating the use of force and non-interference in internal affairs countries, all good but perhaps contradictory goals. To conclude this interview I want to stress that one has worked tirelessly but still a long way to go, there are people who have worked hard and in a transparent and honest but unfortunately the other side of the coin shows that people are still important in the country working with the bands devoted to the subject either directly or indirectly, until no end to this situation, unfortunately we can not stop drug trafficking depends on knowing that all of us to put our grain of sand and fight all toward the same end Zaira Ruano thank you very much.
